Hold to talk
On-device speech first. Say “coffee 4.50”, “lunch 35 yuan”, or “dinner 120 split with Alice” — TabTell proposes a card you confirm.
Hold to talk. Confirm a card. Your ledger stays on this phone — no account, no signup wall. Split dinners and trips when you need to; keep personal spending private when you don’t.
TabTell is a voice-first ledger for personal spends and shared events. Capture once, confirm the card, and keep working offline.
On-device speech first. Say “coffee 4.50”, “lunch 35 yuan”, or “dinner 120 split with Alice” — TabTell proposes a card you confirm.
Nothing writes until you say so. Edit amounts, people, or categories on the card — writes never happen on the server for free local use.
A dinner and a weekend trip are different groups. Guests can be names only. Personal activity still counts your share.
SQLite on your device. Browse and edit without a connection. JSON export is the no-cloud escape hatch whenever you want it.
Set category budgets in plain language. Ask “how much this month” or “spending by category” and get answers from your local ledger.
More AI, receipt OCR, encrypted snapshot backup, and live event invites — still no TabTell password. Restore Purchases binds the store.
Install, open, talk. Identity is a device id — not a login wall.
On-device speech first. Snap a receipt with the camera when you have a photo — Pro unlocks OCR when you need it.
TabTell proposes the spend or split. You tweak and save. Local writes stay on the phone.
Events own their members and receipts. Equal, percent, shares, or exact amounts — guests don’t need accounts.
Encrypted snapshot and live invites when you’re ready. Restore Purchases — not a TabTell password.
Most ledgers want an account before you log a coffee. Shared apps turn every dinner into a household. TabTell stays local until you opt in.
Install and log. A random device id handles anonymous AI quotas and invites — you are not building another password.
Hold-to-talk proposes structured spends and splits. You confirm once instead of tapping through twelve form fields.
Trip folders and dinner tabs dissolve when the event ends. No forever household roster you have to maintain.
Free use writes only on-device. Optional encrypted snapshots are ciphertext — we cannot read your personal ledger.
Natural-language queries against local data — spending this month, by category, or what someone still owes on an event.
App Store, Play, or Paddle. Restore Purchases rebinds the store id to this device — no email login required.
Unlimited local transactions, budgets, and guest events are free. Pro is a store purchase — more AI, receipts, backup, and live invites.

Accounts, privacy, and what Pro unlocks.
No. TabTell generates a device id locally. Opening the app does not create a TabTell login. Pro uses App Store / Play / Paddle Restore Purchases bound to that device.
On your device in SQLite (SQLCipher on native). Cloud snapshots, when you enable them with Pro, are encrypted before upload — we only store ciphertext.
Free covers local transactions, budgets, guest events, on-device speech, JSON export, and a daily AI trial. Pro adds more AI, receipt OCR, encrypted backup, and live event invites.
Event members can be names only on your phone. Live invites (Pro) let others join a shared event when you publish one — that event’s data is visible to everyone who joins.
Export JSON anytime on free. With Pro, restore an encrypted snapshot with your passphrase, then Restore Purchases to rebind Pro to the new device.
No. TabTell is a personal finance helper. You are responsible for amounts you confirm into the ledger. It is not a bank, tax advisor, or legal settlement service.
TabTell is available on the App Store and Google Play. Install on your phone — your ledger starts on-device, no account required.
